Erlend Hagenes

Since 2004, Hagenes has been leading “Øvelse Nord” to what is now; the leading national meeting place for Norwegian emergency preparedness. With his background in voluntary rescue organizations, the healthcare sector, business, acute medicine, and the university, he is a widely utilized speaker, exercise leader, and mentor in the field of emergency preparedness. Hagenes has conducted research and obtained a master’s degree in promoting safety factors. He has many years of experience as an intensive care nurse in pre-/in-hospital settings and extensive experience related to civil-military cooperation and total defense. Hagenes is currently a senior advisor at Nord University and has initiated the launch of several studies in the field of emergency preparedness.
