Dr. Stefanie Babst is the former NATO Deputy Assistant General from 2006 – 2012. She also led the NATO Strategic Foresight Team from 2012 – 2020. She is an internationally recognized strategic advisor, author and key-note speaker on international security.

He focuses his research on military cooperation and ‘Confidence- and Security-Building Measures’ (CSBMs) as a tool for conflict prevention. His main expertise is security in the Arctic, weapons control and CSBM.
